ClubGRANTS

ClubGRANTS is an initiative of the NSW Club Industry and the State Government to provide funding for local community projects and services. ClubGRANTS are funded by a gaming machine tax rebate.

Sutherland Shire Council administers the ClubGRANTS process and has formed a Committee including local Club representatives to identify priorities and make funding recommendations.

Priorities for funding in 2012 are:

  • Women and Children Escaping Domestic Violence
  • Disability Services
  • Young People in Danger
  • Child/Family Services
  • Community Education Programs
  • Services for Older People

Only projects which directly benefit residents of the Sutherland Shire will be considered. Refer to the ClubGrants Guidelines 2012 for eligibility.

Applications

ClubGRANTS Applications will open on Thursday, 1 March 2012 and close on Thursday, 5 April 2012.

Applications must be lodged online through the Smarty Grants website. No late applications will be accepted.

Information Session

An Information Session for interested applicants will be held on Monday 5 March 2012 from 10.30am – 12.30pm at Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, Captain Cook Drive, Woolooware. This session will demonstrate the online application process, discuss local priorities and how assessments are made.  Bookings are essential and can be made by email at crs@ssc.nsw.gov.au.
