Planning For The Future of Our Community
All Councils in NSW are required to work under the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. Under this framework, all Councils are required to deliver a suite of strategic documents that supports a holistic approach to planning for the future. The framework consists of a long term Community Strategic Plan, a 4 year Delivery Program and annual Operational Plan and budget – all informed by a long term Resourcing Strategy. Integral to the framework is ongoing engagement, monitoring and review, and regular reporting on our progress towards achieving the goals and aspirations of the community.
Community Strategic Plan
Our Community Strategic Plan outlines the community’s aspirations and long-term vision for the Sutherland Shire and has been prepared by Council in collaboration with, and on behalf of residents, businesses, all levels of government and local agencies, to help build a vibrant and sustainable future for the local community.
