The public parkland and a playground for the community at South Village, Kirrawee is getting closer to being a reality. The 9,000 square metres of park will create an attractive and high quality recreation space for residents and visitors with its playground set within green space.
Council will also have a separate 1,500 square metre retail space within the precinct area and retain this for future public purposes. In the interim, it will be leased with all income generated going straight back into delivering services for our community.
Council understands that the South Village development is important to our community and although much of the decision-making for the development has been outside of Council’s control, we will continue to provide as much information as possible to keep the community informed.
