Classic Country Comes to Town at Sutherland Entertainment Centre

An exciting and highly entertaining new show Classic Country starring vibrant young Australian Courtney Conway will tell the stories of the greatest country music artists of all time through song at Sutherland Entertainment Centre on Saturday 1 April.

Courtney will sing some of her favourite country classics including Tennessee Waltz, Take Me Home Country Roads, Crazy, I Fall to Pieces and some originals from her award winning album.

Courtney Conway is currently touring with popular theatre show Always...Patsy Cline. Courtney's debut album ’21 Days’ won Courtney the ‘Female Rising Star Award’ at the 2015 Independent Country Music Southern Stars Awards held in Mildura, Victoria.

In February 2015, Courtney was awarded ‘Single of the Year’, ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’ for her album ‘21 days’ at the West Australian Independent Country Music Awards. She has also won ‘Best New Talents’ at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards.

Her onstage band will include Ross Sermons (who has performed with Steve Winwood and Elvis Presley’s original guitarist Scotty Moore) on bass guitar and vocals, piano player extraordinaire, Doug Loyd, Melbourne-drummer from Always…Patsy Cline, Tommy Harrison and 2017 Golden Guitar Award Winner, Stuie French on guitar!
