It’s been 10 years since the first Christmas in July was held at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre and this ever popular concert event returns to the Sutherland Entertainment Centre on Saturday 15 July at 8pm.
This year patrons will be treated to award winning international instrumentalist Danny Elliott as he presents Hooked On Classics, a Christmas in July Special
“This performance from Danny Elliott will include a huge number of different instruments. From swing on the clarinet, to the country fiddle to even the didgeridoo,” said Sutherland Shire Mayor, Carmelo Pesce.
Danny Elliott has supported many great performers including Dame Shirley Bassey, The Supremes, and Marina Prior, to name a few. Danny is also a regular on many of the world’s most luxurious cruise lines.
Special guest artists will include Opera Australia’s Soprano, Julie Lee Goodwin, Kirrawee High School’s Kaleidoscope Choir and The Starlight Orchestra.
Tickets can be purchased over the phone on 9521 8888 or by visiting suthentcent.com.au. Ticket prices are general admission - $45, concession - $42 and groups of 6 or more - $39.
This is another great show from the SEC 2017 ‘Experience it Live’ Program which presents music, theatre and cinema for Shire residents to enjoy. This performance is proudly sponsored by Engadine Music.
