To celebrate 100 years since the end of the First World War, Sutherland Shire Council held tree-planting ceremonies in each Ward, with a single Gallipoli Aleppo Pine planted at Monroe Park Cronulla, Seymour Shaw Park Miranda, Como Pleasure Grounds, Cooper Street Park Engadine and Park Menai.

Next Wednesday is “Ride 2 Work Day” which is a national event designed to encourage bike riders of all skill levels to get on their bikes and cycle to work.
I feel very privileged to once again represent the Sutherland Shire community as Mayor.
The school holidays are fast approaching and Council has so many great activities to keep the kids entertained and active this spring.
