Council Rates

Your New Look Rates Notice

From August 2020 your Rates Instalment will look a little different - we updated the design to make it simplier for residents. Here's a preview:

COVID 19 – Financial Hardship

We understand that more than ever, some of our ratepayers may be facing financial hardship. Council will not be charging interest during the period 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2020 on overdue rates and charges. There will also be a moratorium on any legal action taken for debt recovery purposes until 31 December 2020.

It is recommended that if you cannot make full payment by the due date that you schedule ongoing part-payments to suitably manage your outstanding balance.

If you are experiencing financial hardship at this time, we ask that you contact Council on (02) 9710 0333 to explore other measures available to you under Council’s Debt Recovery and Hardship Policy. Alternatively, email us on with your name and contact details and one of Council's officers will contact you.

The Commonwealth and NSW Government are providing financial assistance to individuals and small businesses. We would encourage those who are affected in this way to investigate these support options by reading the information available on the relevant websites: and
