Sutherland Shire Council offers a range of events and activities that will keep the kids entertained during the Spring School Holidays. From exploring nature in our spectacular parks and reserves, building bots, painting in the gallery, to making a splash at our Leisure Centres, Sutherland Shire has something for everyone, join in, it’s going to be a world of fun!

Fun Filled Vacation Care

Indoor crafts, outdoor experiences & great excursions feature as part of Council's fun & busy Vacation Care program at Miranda, Lucas Heights & Burraneer Bay. Bookings essential.

Make a Splash at Sutherland Leisure Centre

Let the kids jump around on the giant water inflatable (Mon Wed Fri both weeks) or book them in for learn to swim intensive classes and fitness day camps

Bump and Bounce at Menai Indoor Sports

Keep the kids active these holidays with fun filled days of sports, games, and activities at Menai Indoor Sports Centre. The hugely popular Bubble Soccer is back and it will have the kids bumping, bouncing and rolling around laughing.

Coding, Robots and Drumming at our Libraries

Get loud with a drumming workshop, rock some robots with Cartoon Dave, learn visual coding at our Ozobot maze scrambles and much more. Bookings open 4 September.

Paint, Create and Build in the Gallery

Give your kids the chance to explore their creativity at Hazelhurst with a range of activities from building clay robots, creating a digital cartoon or learning to paint a portrait. Plus there's a café for parents and the latest exhibition in the Gallery.

Hang out with the bats, scamper through the jungle, learn all about seedlings and find out how a tree is born as part of Bushcare's free activities for the kids these school holidays.
