Do you know a teenager who'd love to make films?
We've teamed up with GU Film House Cronulla and Bus Stop Films to present 'Shire Shorts' as part of Youth Week 2018.
‘Shire Shorts’ is a fantastic film making program, complete with classes on how to produce, shoot and edit your own films AND a competition with prizes for the best films created. Get inside the head of a filmmaker and hear from award-winning bus stop films’ director, Sarah Jane Johnson, as she takes you through workshops on short film structure, what makes a great short film, Mise-en-scene, camera framing and more!
So if you consider yourself a budding director or
film maker and you are a Sutherland Shire high school student, submit an expression of interest to
JJackson@ssc.nsw.gov.au by 18 February, so that you can be part of the ‘Shire Shorts’ program, but you’ll need to make sure you act quickly because places are filling fast. Successful participants will be notified from 22 Feb.
