Sand says country. It says the passing of time and our enduring relationship with nature. Sand has meaning through the ages to people of this place. Sand evokes connections to beaches, dunes and homes – we all have a connection through stories told on this sand for thousands of years.

The stories of time and culture, the stories of this sand – of country, culture, clan– told through the essential elements that connect us all – earth, water, fire and air.

The event will include:

-Welcome to Country and Opening Ceremony

-Music, Dance and Song including a special acoustic performance from Casey Donovan

-Storytelling

-Blak Markets

-Food
