Scientists working with ANSTO’s OPAL research reactor in Lucas Heights are using sophisticated measuring instruments to test stresses in materials and solve engineering problems that affect our everyday lives.

Guest speaker Dr Anna Paradowska explains how the KOWARI and DINGO neutron instruments are used at the reactor, discussing the impacts of engineering innovation on large and small scales.
