What are your memories of your local milk bar or cafe? Is it the lollies? The milkshakes? The ice-creams? Or maybe even the owners?

Join us for a virtual panel discussion all about Greek-Australian milk bars, past and present. Historian and author of Greek Cafes and Milkbars of Australia, Leonard Janiszewski, will take us on a fascinating trip down memory lane sharing stories of the milkbar culture, and Barbra Godfrey, director of Parry's Milkbar Caringbah, will share her experiences from her time running this iconic, retro styled milk bar that is still successfully operating after 62 years.
