Dianne Blacklock makes her long-awaited return with a sweeping tale of first love and second chances told with her trademark warmth and humour.

Young and independent Kate meets top fashion photographer Jack in a dark alley of 1980s Sydney. Almost a decade later, they are estranged, nursing pain and regret. As family secrets are revealed, and lies – so many lies – unravel, a tragedy brings them once again into each other's orbit.

Jack and Kate asks if you can ever really put the past behind you.
