A memoir about surviving a life-threatening diagnosis of blood cancer while still doing the things that bring life meaning.

Cheryl Koenig fought a painful disease while being an advocate for people with disabilities and their carers, and finding time for writing, family and looking after her son Jono, who she wrote about in Paper Cranes.

In My Blood is a love story and a sequel to With Just One Suitcase, and about how Koenig uses writing as a powerful medium in a daily mindful distraction from chronic pain.
