Not many Australians know the history of the Armenian Genocide, the event considered a blueprint for the crimes of the Holocaust.
Even fewer Australians know about the assassination of the Turkish consul-general in Vaucluse in 1980, a crime still unsolved today.
To mark World Peace Day, Ashley Kalagian Blunt, author of My Name is Revenge, traces the connections between these historical events, and how her new book explores the legacy of the genocide both for her family and Armenians around the world, as well as for Australians.
