The Local Studies Collection is a rich source of information on the history and development of the Sutherland Shire.
The collection includes books, journals, local newspapers, historical photographs, electoral rolls, maps, council minutes (1906-present) and oral histories. It is housed in the Local Studies Room on the first floor at Sutherland Library. It is a reference collection and these items cannot be borrowed.
