Daniel Mudie Cunningham

Arty Act: Please Mr Postman, 1975/2020

Video performance action.

Please Mr Postman, 1975/2020 from Daniel Mudie Cunningham on Vimeo.

Please Mr Postman is a performance action that dispenses with our present fascination with TikTok for karaoke of the past. Travel back to the day you were born, turn on that AM Radio and find out what song best represents your newfound passion for lip-syncing.

Daniel’s work in Hazelhurst 20 Years is True Colours, a lip-synced recreation of Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors music video from 1986. You can watch Daniel’s version here and at Hazelhurst.
