Arty Act: Nature Mandala
Each of us has our own ‘sacred sites’ – those places that are embedded in our lives, and associated with a sense of rapture, of connection to a realm beyond the mundane. In this activity, artist Belinda Allen invites you to use images of your own special nature places to create a mandala.
You will need:
• 4 prints of one image of a natural landscape (as below).
• A piece of heavy paper or card at least 4 times as large as your image. For a postcard size image, you will need paper that is a little larger than A4.
• Ruler and pencil.
• Some glue (glue stick, paper glue, PVA or spray adhesive), or thin double-sided tape.
