My friends constantly refer to me as ‘oblivious’ due to my inability to be punctual and understand subtle hints. However, to their surprise, school has never been an overwhelming challenge. This had never made sense to me (or them) until I discovered Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, which differentiates intelligence into specific modalities, rather than seeing it as dominated by a single general ability. Through my work I explore each aptitude Gardner has defined, and consequently understand the reason behind my often-nonsensical behaviour.
