In my work I aim to demonstrate the differences between city and natural environments. Our cities have become hubs for human activity and repetitive daily work routines. In the process the beauty and curative value of natural environments have been lost. My work not only demonstrates the fast-paced nature of city environments but also the sense of entrapment and isolation that can be felt within these environments. I contrast this with the romantic appeal of the natural environment’s open spaces and vibrant natural colour that has been lost to many in a 21st century context.
