29 August – 8 November 2020

Comprised entirely of works selected from the NGA collection, Art Deco presents superb examples of Australian Vitalism. Artists include Rupert Bunny, Sonia Delaunay, Napier Waller, Margaret Preston and Harold Cazneaux.

Our K-6 education resource has been developed by Hazelhurst’s Public Programs & Education team and examines four works from the exhibition and includes teacher notes on the artists and artworks discussed, questions for discussion, suggested art making activities to try in the classroom, printable templates, a glossary of key words covered and a list of curriculum outcomes.

The Home

29 August – 8 November 2020

Hear from artists Tracey Clement and Christopher Zanko about their practice and work for our current exhibition The Home. These videos are accompanied by an educational resource for K-6 students which includes background on the artist, images of their works, discussion questions, links to curriculum outcomes and art making activities to try in the classroom or at home.
