HSC Intensive: Solar Plate Etching
28 Mar 2021 - 28 Mar 2021
Work with artist Matthew Ablitt to turn your drawings or photos into an etching.
The solar plate process exposes a photo polymer plate under the sun, or uses a UV light. Solar Plate Etching allows you to expand the possibilities for your Body of Work by exploring the combination of image, text and photos and allows the print maker to generate a wide range of printed effects resembling etchings, lino cuts, lithographs or photographic techniques. This is a non-toxic and versatile form of printmaking on paper.
Cost: $108. Class takes place from 10am - 4pm on Sunday 28 March 2021.
