Macro Floral Painting in Acrylics
18 Aug 2019 - 18 Aug 2019
Using photographs as reference, create large macro floral paintings on canvas that explore the dynamic impact of scale.
With a focus on composition, colour and contrast students in the workshop will create a stand out, three dimensional work. The tutor, Tracey Miller, will guide students to express themselves, building confidence through art making.
Bowral artist Tracey Miller has been a practicing artist and teacher for thirty years and her work is greatly influenced by the natural environment. Tracey’s preferred mediums are acrylic paint, lino cuts, ink and mixed media and she has developed a simplified style, depicting the essence of her subject.
She believes art is for everyone, and actively promotes the positive influence of participation in the arts and the artmaking community. Tracey participates both in solo and group exhibitions in the Southern Highlands, Sydney and South Coast of NSW.
Cost: $107.00. Class takes place from 10am - 4pm on Sunday 18 August 2019.
