HSC Intensive: Working in Mixed Media
12 Mar 2017 - 12 Mar 2017
The focus of this workshop is experimentally based with a strong emphasis on practical techniques to help consolidate images.
Experience various ways to approach subject matter and gain insight, knowledge and skills, working with the different properties and characteristics of a variety of media. Students will encounter ways to problem solve an image (by distilling), as well as discover the language of mark making to simulate texture and pattern.
Each student will work from their own area of interest with references made to some contemporary examples in the ARTEXPRESS exhibition.
