It Takes Two, is an adaptation of the original concept by Rod Stewart and Tina Turner, combining the talents of Cookie Watkins as “Tina Turner” and Rob Caudill as” Rod Stewart”. It is hard to imagine a more dynamic duo to grace the stage of any venue. Their performances can only be described as, powerhouse, exhilarating & captivating and ensures a lasting memory with audiences that witness the show..
There is no other Tina Turner impersonator on the planet that comes close. Cookie Watkins is the closest thing to the real Tina Turner. Her Tina Turner tribute will leave you breathless and wanting more. With a little push at the ripe old age of 14 from none other than Duke Ellington. The Duke gave Cookie a coming-out party at the Rockefeller Centre’s Rainbow Room when she turned eighteen. She even warranted a special mention in his book “Music Is My Mistress.”. Her voice is strong and powerful. Her portrayal of Tina Turner will have you singing and dancing in the aisles..,

Then you add the dynamic talents of Rob Caudill as Rod Stewart - the result is poetic symmetry. Rob’s uncanny likeness to the legendary performer confuses people everywhere and then you add the important ingredients, in that he replicates the energy and vocal styling of Rod to perfection. Originally from Memphis, Rob made his mark as an accomplished recording artist vocalist and musician and sometime later, responded to the constant remarks that he had a remarkable resemblance to Rod Stewart.

Rob and Cookie established a close friendship from them both being headline performers travelling the globe entertaining . The obvious outcome was for them to emulate the path Rod and Tina took and do a combined performance as It Takes Two.
