Featuring this week

GRAIG WOODWARD
Craig Woodward

Singer-songwriter Craig Woodward fuses contemporary songs with memorable melody and harmony. His music crosses over his loved styles of Pop, Rock, Modern Country and Funk.

Over the years he has developed a uniquely Australian style of Aussie Country Rock and has built a strong reputation as an engaging singer, songwriter and performer from his constant hard-working approach to performing live, writing and recording.

Craig has supported Australian touring acts with his ever-evolving live show sharing the stage with the likes of Ian Moss, Sarah McLeod, Mental as Anything, 1927’ & Adam Harvey.

Bondi Smile from his debut album received local and international airplay and acclaim.

Get Your Boots On launched across Australian country radio nationally with hi-rotation on the KIX Country Radio Network.

Craig’s latest single Silver Lining Dream was fast tracked from his 2020 recording process for his forthcoming album. Craig wrote this song and produced it as an honest reflection from the overwhelming and conscious consuming global crisis that is the COVID-19 Epidemic. From an artist’s perspective he writes about his observations, thoughts, feelings and prayers for a broken world in need of a global shift and reset.

CARAVANA SUN

Well-known local lively surf-rockers Caravãna Sun started the new year with ‘Charlie’, their first single after signing with Berlin’s Embassy of Music, joining a roster that includes Björk, Robyn and fellow Aussie acts Ball Park Music and Husky.

For their newest body of work, Caravãna Sun took to a remote location in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney in Australia’s New South Wales. Thankfully untouched by the fires that engulfed much of the nearby area, the studio became their safe-haven away from distractions of the outside world. Unchartered territories were explored, leading the band to new discoveries both creatively and spiritually.

‘Charlie’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for Caravãna Sun. An uplifting jangle-pop number, the song is an empathetic, almost cathartic experience. Though on first impressions ‘Charlie’ might appear overtly melancholic, the message behind it is nothing but positive: you are not alone.
