The Citizenship Ceremony is the final step in the process of becoming an Australian Citizen, where successful applicants take the Pledge of Commitment.

Invitations will be sent to people who are taking part.  If you have been invited to attend the ceremony you should read our Frequently Asked Questions page.

If you are interested in becoming an Australian citizen you should visit the Department of Home Affairs website. Our Citizenship page contains some more information about council's role in the process.

This ceremony will follow NSW Health guidelines for conducting an indoor event.
