Do you know someone who helps others and is worthy of attention?
A friend, neighbour or relative who gives generously of their time and expertise?
Do you know a local community group, or are you a member of a group, that collectively assists, organises, or campaigns for the benefit of others?
Nominate them for a Sutherland Shire 2018 Australia Day Award.
Each year council’s community awards program recognises the unsung heroes and organisation who give generously of their time and expertise to help others.
There are many of these people in our community – those who consistently volunteer for charity work, never hesitate to join important community initiatives, strive to improve the community services and facilities of the Shire, and of course, are tomorrow’s leaders full of youthful exuberance.
