Youth Culture

Youth Culture Organisation was formed at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre in 2008 from a group of young local volunteers. Its purpose is to help initiate events which combine music, art and entertainment for young people and provide creative input for future events at Hazelhurst.

Youth Culture meetings occur once per school term (approx). The ideas discussed include:

• ideas for Youth Culture event, such as the band and art activities.
• ideas for art competitions for young people.
• How to promote Youth Culture events and attract more young people to Hazelhurst.
