Schools can choose from a range of education programs which involve exploring the latest exhibition, creating in the art centre, and free bus travel to Hazelhurst for those located in the Sutherland Shire or St George region. Hazelhurst's education programs are generously supported by Principal Partner, Veolia Transport.

ART FUN
This popular one day excursion includes a guided Art Trail in the latest exhibition and art making in the studios. Students have the opportunity to engage with original works of art and explore different mediums such as ceramics, painting and drawing, mixed media or printmaking.
Cost: $288 per group or $16 per student for groups of 18 or more. More than one group can attend. Price includes all materials and art teacher facilitator.
ART TRAIL
A self directed activity aimed at appealing to the student's sense of adventure and enquiry. Students view the latest exhibition, looking carefully to discover the story and answer the questions.
Cost: $3 per student. Maximum group of 10 per teacher/parent.
DISCUSSION TOUR AND ACTIVITIES
A one hour program discussing art, looking at works of art, talking about what artists do and what they make. Students explore themes and investigate materials and techniques. Discussions are based on the current exhibition, or teachers can recommend a theme or focus.
Cost: $150 per group. Maximum 20 per group.
ART IN THE GARDEN
A one hour workshop exploring drawing from nature in the wonderful Hazelhurst gardens.
Cost: $200 per group. Maximum 20 per group.
FREE VEOLIA BUSES FOR SCHOOLS
Visit Hazelhurst on a Monday or Tuesday and schools in the Sutherland Shire and some areas of the St George region can take advantage of free bus travel for their excursion. Book early as there are only 3 buses available each week.
