The Sutherland Entertainment Centre is a unique multi-purpose venue ideal for hosting a wide variety of events such as conferences, presentations, dinners, product launches, community and professional theatre and concerts. We are able to accommodate up to 900 guests for concerts, 500 guests for dinner events and has over 550 square metres of exhibition space, making it the ideal venue.

Disability Access

The following facilities are available at the centre to assist people with disabilities:

Ground floor access

All ground floor areas of Sutherland Entertainment Centre are wheelchair accessible with ramps at the main Eton Street entrance and at the rear entrance in Merton Street. A limited number of designated parking spots are available in Eton Street.

Please advise when booking tickets whether wheelchair access is required so that the best possible space can be allocated in the theatre. Generally this is achieved by removing an aisle seat. A portable lift allowing stage access for wheelchairs is also available by prior arrangement.

Hearing loop

A hearing loop is installed in the dress circle. While it is possible to utilise this facility from any seat in the area, it is helpful to advise staff when booking so that they can ensure you derive optimum benefit.
