Australia Day

Australia Day in the Shire was blessed with sunshine and Council's events at Cronulla Beach and Parc Menai attracted large crowds.

A definite favourite with the spectators was Nathan Foley and his band who performed at Menai and Cronulla, but it was the McClymonts at Cronulla who stole the show and had the crowd dancing to an upbeat mix of pop, rock and country.

Celebrations at both venues culminated in a fireworks finale that wowed the young and the young at heart.
